Angel Acres Horse Haven Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit rescue organization dedicated to save slaughter bound horses, especially Thoroughbreds, rehabilitates and place them into loving homes. They are located in Glenville, Pennsylvania. Their mission is to:
- Rescue slaughter bound horses…. those bought by “killer buyers” for slaughter for human consumption in foreign countries.
- Raise awareness about the sound, sane, healthy young horses being slaughtered to feed diners in foreign countries.
- Make known the extremely brutal horse slaughter industry that takes place in Mexico, in addition to the killing taking place daily in Canada.
