The Equine STAR Foundation is a non-profit organization, responsible for providing fair treatment and care for mistreated, unwanted or retired equines through rehabilitation, education and community outreach. They strive to provide a sanctuary, a place of emotional, physical and spiritual healing for horses, as well as human beings. They urge disadvantaged and at-risk youth, abused children and adults and special needs children to come together with rescued, rehabilitated horses for the purpose of healing. They are based in White Lake, Michigan.
