The Horse Shelter is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of abused and neglected horses within the State of New Mexico. The organization’s mission is to to help owners care for their horses and to see that New Mexico’s horses are as safe and well cared for as possible. They follow a multi-facet approach in order to accomplish their mission. They are based in Cerrilos, New Mexico.
