Ipswich Equine Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of neglected, abused, mistreated, starved and slaughter-bound equines. I.E.R has been rescuing ex-race horses or off the track Thoroughbreds (OTTB) since the mid 1980s. It also provides refuge and sanctuary to former Thoroughbred racehorses and Premarin Foals. Besides the organization promotes, educates and teaches horsemanship through experienced professional licensed trainers and instructors. The organization is a member of the Equine Welfare Alliance.
