Palmetto Equine Awareness & Rescue League is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and welfare of all equines. They provide a safe environment for starved, abused and neglected animals, along with medical treatment and daily human contact; strive to rehabilitate them and place them in caring and loving homes. Their mission is to educate equine owners and to support the efforts of South Carolina’s Law Enforcement agencies, Animal Control departments and Humane Society Chapters towards providing fair treatment and care for equines.
