Located in Mt. Pleasant Mills, Pennsylvania Rainbow Acres Horse Rescue & C.A.R.E. is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving horses from abuse, neglect and slaughter. They do not rescue helpless horses directly but are responsible for educating the public and direct horse owners to other rescue organizations who are able to help them.
Through their C.A.R.E. (Citizens Aiding Rescues Everywhere) Program, Rainbow Acres Horse Rescue attempts to help other rescued horses to match up with perspective owners and also help out people needing homes for their horses by finding a suitable foster home.
