Texas-based United States Equine Sanctuary and Rescue (USESR) is a charitable organization dedicated to advancing the health and welfare of horses and other equines nationwide through engaging volunteer-based equine rescue, foster care and adoption programs. Their mission is to prevent animal abuse, neglect and slaughter and ensure healthy living conditions for all equines. The organization was founded in the year 1998 as H.O.R.S.E.S. in Texas.
