They keep the mission of rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing abused, neglected and unwanted horses and providing a safe sanctuary for old, infirm and injured equines. WRERR works actively with Shooting Star Stables and Equine Rescue, Inc. of Wakarusa, Kansas; State Regional Director of the Humane Society of the United States; and with the the Humane Society of the Flint Hills, based in Emporia, Kansas.
